Current Advice & Guidelines

Updated as of 4th October 2021

The NSW Government has released their roadmap for easing restrictions. On October 11th NSW will begin re-opening and more freedoms will be available to those residents who are fully vaccinated. For further information on roadmap please see the link below:

Re-opening at 70% fully vaccinated
Further re-opening at 80% full vaccinated
Fully re-opened from December 1st

Proof of vaccination will be required until December 1st. There are several options to access and share proof of your COVID-19 vaccination. Click here for more information on these options.

When visiting our region, we ask that all guests follow the current restrictions in place by NSW Health and the NSW Government. Full details on these restrictions can be found at nsw.gov.au.

Managing your booking

Direct Bookings
Bookings made direct with us either by telephone, email or our website can be amended and/or cancelled by calling our reception team on 02 6566 6400 or by emailing stay@costaricamotel.com.au.

If you made your booking on our website you can also manage your reservation through our Guest Portal.

Booking.com or Expedia
Bookings made through Online Travel Agents such as Booking.com and Expedia must be amended and/or cancelled through your online account with them or by calling their Customer Service teams. If you need assistance with this please refer to your online confirmation.

Booking Terms and Conditions

Our flexible booking options are in place to ensure guests are able to cancel their booking if they become unwell.

48 hour cancellation policies are in place for all bookings made direct with us either over the phone on our website. Bookings made through Online Travel Agents such as Booking.com and Expedia, full terms and conditions apply with their cancellation policies remaining in place.

Terms and conditions may differ during peak periods. Please refer to your reservation confirmation for more information.

Cancellation due to COVID-19: Withstanding rights under consumer law, guests will have the option to select a new date for their existing booking or accept a credit should any of the below criteria impact their planned stay:

• You or an immediate family member becomes sick with COVID–19
• You are forced into self-isolation
• You are awaiting the results of a COVID–19 test or
• A State Government or Commonwealth Government directive is issued and means you are no longer able to travel to or from your destination.

To request either a change to booking dates or to receive a credit for a future booking in relation to the COVID-19 Cancellation Policy you will need to contact our reception directly.

Onsite Facilities

On-site Restaurant

From Saturday 11th September our on-site restaurant Pilot Station Pizza reopens for dine-in along with room service, takeaway and home delivery. Entry terms and conditions apply and we ask all guests to respect staff.

Capacity limits are still in place for hospitality venues so we ask that you make a booking in advance to ensure you don’t miss out by calling 02 6566 7365.

Check-in via the Service NSW app is required when collecting your order and masks must be worn at all times.

Fish Rock Dive Centre

Fish Rock Dive Centre is closed during the current lock down period.

Squash Court

Squash Court facilities are now open for hire. Capacity limits apply. Bookings must me made in advance.
